Elder Ballard Conference!

Sup everyone!!! This week was awesome and a toooon happened!! I’d say the highlight of the week was going to the elder Ballard conference and being able to learn so much from him and the Europe Area Presidency. They are very smart and inspired men and they said a lot of awesome stuff! Elder Ballard talked a lot about Miracles and how to more simply teach as missionaries. I’m very grateful to have been a part of that conference and to be filled with all their awesome advice.
Other than the Elder Ballard conference, we had an awesome district meeting with our district, and we also have had some really awesome member appointments lately. Not that our member appointments before weren’t awesome, but the last couple have been really awesome! Elder Ballard also encouraged us to teach more, whether that’s members or investigators, but to simply just teach more so that we are able to become master teachers. He said the more we teach and use what we have learned in our Personal Study the more we will teach with our own words so the Spirit is there and able to testify of what we say. It was awesome to hear the encouragement of the Apostle to promise us that we can become master teachers.
Well other than that we were able to meet with one of our investigators named Jeff! He’s awesome and knows a lot about religion so it’s been cool to talk about the church in different ways. We are hoping to be able to set a baptismal date with him pretty soon, we are just waiting on the Spirit to testify to him that the Book is true!
Anyways, I’m grateful to be here in Germany at this time. It’s definitely hard to do what the Lord needs us to do instead of what we want to do. But the Lord knows it will benefit us greatly! I’m very grateful for Him and His patience, love, and willingness to keep working with me. He loves us, this church is true, Christ lives and His power is eternal, and I know that we are able to get through our hard times because of Him!! Everyone have a great week and make sure to read in that good Book of Mormon!
