Weekly

This week was super great!  We were able to meet with some new investigators and a couple of other investigators!!  We met with a young couple that were super chill and are so ready!!  We also met with a young single adult that had a lot of questions for our church as far as what we believe!
Well I'm so sorry, I wish I could've wrote more!! A lot happened this week, but I just have no time to write it all!!  The members here are so helpful I love it!!  I hope every member, or just simply good person, know that they do a lot!  Sometimes it may feel like we are not doing much and that when we help people it's not a big deal, but I know that we have a huge impact on everyone's lives that we help!!  So keep being the good person you are and just follow the Spirit that's within all of us!  Have a good week!

Shoppin for Jesus!

This week was great!! We had our transfers and Elder Forsey and i will be staying here for another!! We are super pumped to keep working hard and do what we know best!! We also were givin a car! Its nothing amazing, but it is a car so we are super grateful. Our area is super massive, especially that the sister missionaries are not here to help us out anymore. But we are having a great time and meeting a lot of new people in all three wards!
So last week we were on splits with our zone leaders and it was a great time! we talked to a tooon of people and had some great conversations. One lady we talked to was from the States and was a homie!! She gladly took a book of Mormon. She had just got done shopping so when I put the Book of Mormon in one of her bags she said, "shopping for Jesus!" Sadly she was on vacation here so we told her to look up the missionaries when she got back to the States. She then randomly took a pic of us and put it on Instagram! i have no idea what her name was so I have no idea where the picture would be. Anyways we ended up teaching a couple great people after that and had a great time.
Well as far as investigators, all of ours are so busy its ridiculous. We are currently working super hard with less active members and its been really cool to see people want to return to Christ! I dont have much time left, but I just wanted to testify of the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ!! I know that we can never get too far away from Christ because His power is eternal and always there for us. Im so happy for the knowledge of the Plan of Salvation and that we are able to live for eternity with our families and our Father in Heaven. Christ lives, and loves us so much that he came to the earth to suffer and die for each one of us. He was resurrected so that we may conquer death!! The Church is true, and I know that the Atonement of Jesus Christ is for everyone one of Gods children!!
Hope everyone has a great week!!

A wonderful missionary and a delight

Hey. This is Wynette Bodily, Carl Jensen's daughter. Your son is in my ward in Germany and I decided to take a picture of him and record his talk on Sunday. I hope these both go through so that you can see them. Brother Rogers is a wonderful missionary and a delight to have in our ward boundaries.
Love, Wynette

Schnelle Woche gehabt!!

Hey this was a fast week and so is pday!! Like always I'm rushed on time so I'll keep it short! We are working with our tattooed investigator to get him to progress closer to baptism! Sadly he had a schedule change and won't be able to meet with us for the next 6 weeks!! He said he might have time on the weekends, but it's still even a gamble. So we are bummed about that! We see our other investigators when we are walking around, but they never answer their phone or door when we try them. It's just a little frustrating to get people to reply answer and so you can meet but they never answer!
We have been getting a lot of good work done here, the wards are awesome and very helpful! They always make sure we have enough stuff, especially when it comes to food. So I'm happy about that! Haha! Anyways, we met as a Zone on Monday, but no one took a pic so I can't chuck it in the weekly. But it was awesome!! We learned a lot about finding and how we can improve it by doing a bunch of little things! President Boyer talked to us about talking to the young single adult aged people instead of others. Of course we must follow impressions from the Spirit, but he told us that the YSA's are very great to talk to because they are in an important spot of their life! And I agree!!
I know that the Lord wants us to reach out to as many people as we can and help them to become closer to Christ. I know that we are all in this together and because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ we are able to share His amazing message with all of Gods children! The world may be forever changing, but our Lord and God will always be the same they have been, before this life, during this life, and following it. Heavenly Father is very wise and completely aware of what we are dealing with every day. He wants to help us and wants to forgive us, but it's our own thoughts and desires that keep us from offering that simple prayer to Him.
I hope everyone has a super sick week and that you can all feel the love of your Redeemer, Jesus Christ!
Ciao!!

Weekly

This week was super awesome!! We were able to meet with our investigator who has the scripture tattooed onto his arm. He is awesome! He's been really busy with work lately, but he found some time to chat with us. A couple days before we met he said he wanted to talk with us about baptism. We weren't sure if that was a good thing or bad thing so we just hopped for the best! We ended up answering his questions best we could and eventually he told us that he is ready!!! We were and are so happy for him!! I totally agree with him too, he is so ready and I'm excited to see him progress! He gets a new work schedule today and said he would let us know what day he wants his baptism to be on. We are really excited and can't wait to help him along the way to follow Christ.
Besides that! We had a great day at church and learned a lot from the members!! I'm very grateful to be here and to be able to help the people that the Lord needs me too. I know that we are all on the Earth to grow and learn from each other!
Sorry for the short email, but I'm gettin stuff done today!! Have a good one!
